Analytics
The spectrum of analysis processes for raw materials and products ranges from chemical-physical, techno-functional to microbiological detection. By using state-of-the-art methods, critical substances can be enriched with highly sensitive detection processes.
Raw material characterization: Raw materials can be characterized and their quality checked, for example for the manufacture of food or cosmetics.
In-process analytics: How do valuable components change during the processing of products such as foodstuffs or cosmetics? Which process steps must be adapted in order to generate greater quantities of vitamins, polyphenols, colourings or similar ingredients? In-process analytics is the answer. Mass balances make it possible to concretize losses so that targeted countermeasures can be taken.
Shelf-life: Spoilage pathogens are detected and food is examined with regard to its shelf-life. Chemical spoilage can also be determined by shelf-life tests.
Aromas: By means of aroma analytics, aroma substances can be detected and quantified. Discriminatory food analytics unlock the phenomenon of taste by linking the results of chemical analysis to sensorial experiments. The verification of foreign aromas due to faulty packaging is another of our services.
Environment: Using special environment analytics, wastewater and sludge can be monitored. Plants are examined in terms of their usability for energy production. Our expertise in this field means we can offer optimum support in the operation of biogas plants. Room air analysis permits the detection of pollutants which can harm our wellbeing, for example in public buildings, at work, or at home.
